Most of you readers know that I have been working on letting my hair go back to its natural color. Well, not working of course, since I don't have to color it -that's the work part - I've just let it grow out. Of course, when I started coloring my hair, oh, a milion years ago, it was still more or less dark brown. Little strands of white here and there, but not that you'd notice so much.
Then it got a little more reddish and bright, but it never, never got gray.
Sometime last spring I just got tired of doing it and decided to quit. Cold turkey. Fertig. Fini. Ende. Done. The last job was in May.
Hair grows about a centimeter a month in Europe or about a half an inch a month in The US of A.
Now I have about two inches of not-colored hair, and so I went to my hair dresser and said, cut it off.
And he did. There's still a bit of color on the ends here and there, but it's mostly NOT color! It's mostly WHITE.
Wow. Werner has a new wife!! And I do double-takes in the bathroom mirror, but in general, we are pretty OK with it.

the other day my dad was looking through your photobucket account and there was a picture of a little girl at the beach, only the back of her was showing, (mimi and i assumed it was Amina.) But i had to do several double takes, from behind (the hair, the skintone) looks EXACTLY like Aubrey! it was so funny!

Thanks Rachel, but it's not a NEW color - it's the REAL color! Yes, Amina's hair and skintone is very close to Aubrey's - and they are both just tiny.
