Covid put a halt to so many things, including the CreARTour which showcases local artists who live in and around Hambergen, a village a bit north of here. It was a perfect day to bike! So, off on the train first to Lübberstedt. And then to Axstedt. German place names are fun and funny. Still.
First stop was stop 8. Because that was where we started! Actually, there were several folks displaying their works here and I felt a bit like I'd stepped back into the 70s or so in the US.
A pile of random wood to be worked into works of art.We bought a little ceramic water bath for the birdies and enjoyed the garden atmostphere.
On to another artist who specialized in ceramics. I really liked her things! The shapes were lovely and she was such a happy lively presenter!
And you gotta like a person who has such fun with a Black Forest clock!
Further along, a wonderfully restored old farmhouse with very modern and fanciful ceramic sculptures.
Lunch time! We have visited this windmill several times. Today there was a glass blower doing her craft and a display of jewelry inside the mill.
