April, April!

The saying in German is:  April, April, der macht was er will!  Loosely translated, April will do whatever.  It's April! (And we all know April is a joke.)

And that's the truth!  The weather is all over the place, and today was an example par excellence!

We had rain,

and graupel (soft hail)

and snow showers

 and incredible sunshine, and clouds that promise more of what we already had.

It wasn't more than 48° and with the wind, we felt it!  Regular winter coats and hats but unfortunately no gloves since I'd put them away last week.

In 1993 on this date, Bremen had its highest recorded temp - 77°F. That was the year we moved here.  When we arrived in late May, it was rainy and pretty cool.  Everyone told us how wonderful it had been the month before.

Yeah. Weather.
