Warm !  Sunshine !  Bikes !

Good grief, it has taken a while to get to this: sunshine and warm at the same time that is.  We did have a day or two of warm a couple of weeks ago, but then cooooooler temperatures moved back in and though the sun was out, it just didn't much feel like spring.  Then - ta da !! - today. I think the whole city was on the streets.

And lucky for us there was another reason to get out:  the BreNor.  The Bremen North Show, with lots of businesses and lots of stands showing off their goods, and lots of information and lots and lots of folks!

But first we had to get there and to get there we had to pass a couple of barriers.  It's toad wandering time again.  They're on the move and since they're federally protected public streets that go through their wander ways are closed to cars from 8PM to 7AM.  OK by me.  Right to Life for the toads, it says.

The crowds were good.  We checked out folks who could insulate our attic (we REALLY need that), looked at the exhibit on old-fashioned rope-making, bought some herbs from the garden stand  and checked out the Elvis impersonator.  What a hoot!  Why is it that all the Elvis impersonators do him when he was overweight? Just asking....  By the way, he sang just as wonderful as he looked.

On the way home we biked along the Weser, our favorite path, by the city gardens.  It's no wonder the paths were full of walkers, the Biergartens packed with customers and the anglers happy to sit in the sun and watch their lines.
