Ever since we repainted the front bedroom last summer to spruce it up for Hunter and Hannah, the area over the windows has bothered me. Too much space. Too much white. Too much empty.
I'd requested relief from the Artist in Residence, and he worked up a sketch months and months ago but somehow couldn't get started. Finally, I gave a hard enough shove and he did start - and finish. Maybe I should push harder more often. Hmmm.
It's a bit kitschy but at least there's some color now, not just white space!
