Clock Repair

Werner came with clocks, some big, some small, all old.

The other day I was on a Skype call and I heard a crash followed by an "uh-oh!"  Since it didn't sound like bodily harm, I waited to find out what had happened.

Well, Werner was in the shower and while he was there, the clock in the bathroom decided to jump off the wall, bump off the toilet seat and into the sink cabinet, leaving a small gash in the cabinet.  Uh-oh for sure!

Amazingly, the clock didn't break into a hundred pieces but the works got all kattywumpus.  Werner to the rescue.

He took out the works and cleaned it up and readjusted a few places and then let it tick-tock for a while to see if it kept on working.

Meanwhile, the case needed a little work - tightening here and there, cleaning the glass, waxing the wood.

Now it's hanging again  - very securely - and looking better than ever.
