Spring! Spargel (asparagus, for you all in the know). I just love it. Love the Spargel. Love that it means spring. Love spring!!
Ready to prepare...
and prepared. They've been shaved and the shavings put into the pot to make the sud. We love our special asparagus tools, too, the peeler and the pot and the servers and the warmers.
The table is ready, with tulips. It is spring!
And here it is! Voilà!! Shaved slices of cured ham, boiled potatoes and our lovely, fresh, spring asparagus, all dressed with warm caramelized butter, garnished with fresh chives and chervil.
I'm in heaven.
