The Rock

There's more background here than anyone wants to know.  Suffice to say, The Rock was a site developed at the Mercedes factory in Bremen to show the folks who'd bought an SUV just what their new toy could do - and it can do A LOT.  Then they decided this was too much fun for just those who bought their SUVs, so they opened the par cours to the public. 

When I heard about it, I immediately thought, Man, would Werner like that or what ?  So that was his Christmas gift  - in 2011!  And we finally got around to redeeming this little goodie.

We shouldn't have waited so long. What fun!! I'm going to sound like an advertisement here, but when you come to visit, you'll just have to do this.  The customer center is wonderful and the staff are a dream and the course is, well, a little breath taking.

First, the staff person drives you around, then you get to do it.  And The Rock - that big thing in the middle - is the high point, both figuratively and literally!  Werner thinks once is not enough!
