Bremen-USA and almost Back
Question: What makes a vacation? Well, being off work. That counts. Being away from home is a plus. Going to an exotic location - put that on the list. Sitting, reading, relaxing, quiet dinners, a book to read, beach, sunshine.
So, were we on vacation? I guess that depends on what gets included in your definition. We had a great time. We got to see EVERYONE in the family (that doesn't always happen), played with grandkids and grand relatives of other orders, ate some wonderful food (by any measure, too much, but that is always the case).
At the moment, there are no pictures, no videos, only a promise that when we return to Bremen, bathed in ice and snow and cold, I will post pictures and videos and an abbreviated log of the trip. After all, a three-week gap is simply not to be tolerated.
